10 minutes- looked up the background on the color that we chose for the bracelets
10 minutes- made discussion on facebook about how far is too far
10 minutes- made various notes about rape topic on facebook
Our project is done for the most part and the only thing we have left to do is to get ready for how we are going to present everything.

12/1/2009
Since 11/20 I have spent 2.0 hours mainting theFacebook up until today and doing research for the fact of the day.
In class we discussed our project further and how we are going to get the video onto the Facebook and how we plan to put informative notes on our Facebook page 1.0 hour
Our project is coming along great!

Progress Report 3
11/19/2009
Worked on bracelets for 2.5 hours (as a group)
In the past week I have spent 1 hour keeping up our Facebook and getting more people to join
In addition I looked for more pictures to put on our Facebook which I did for a half hour (.30)
Discussed in class among me and my group members about what was going into the video (.15)
Our group is making really good progress even though we have only been working on this project for a short time. We are all really excited about our project and what we've accomplished!

Kelsey, Sarah, and I met for an hour to make our proposal. We came up with our thesis and divided up the work for our project. Kelsey is doing a lot of the research and helping Sarah with our video that with have pictures and text. I will be working on our Facebook page and maintaining it. We are also making bracelets to support our cause which we will all be doing together. Our proposal making went along really well and we feel we have a strong topic and our forms of media will portray our topic very well.

Created Facebook page for our cause, sent out invitations for all friends to join
Also found pictures for our cause 5 really good ones that our now in an album on the Facebook page, the page is called Awareness against Sexual Pressure because Facebook prohibits using rape as the name for pages.

Project
Purpose is to inform rape awareness. Our plan is to inform out audience with pictures and statistics and interviews/surveys. Our audience is teenagers and young adults, so basically high school and college kids. For media we plan on doing a commercial and creating a Facebook page to get people to join our cause in raising rape awareness. We are going to use a commercial and Facebook because television and Facebook is a major way they we get messages sent to us. Most high school kids and almost all college students have a Facebook and get sent invitations to join causes and raise awareness about various topics so we think it would really help if we made a rape awareness group and made others involved to show that it really is a problem.
