Recently in Guatemala an old Mayan pyramid was founded. This pyramid is now only being founded because of the massive jungle covering it. It is larger that the city of Los Angeles and may soon be claimed the world's largest pyramid. Preservationists are now wanting to preserve this place a protect if from drug trafficking, looting, and logging. The article also discusses how much labor goes into these pyramids. It also wants to tell us how much labor it took to build these pyramids with a person carrying each and every stone that was used to craft these large pyramids.

  1. That sounds interesting, a new pyramid. I have seen Mayan ruins in the lower part of Mexico. I went two summers ago to Mexico for nine days and traveled all throughout the country. So hearing that there is a new Mayan pyramid peeks my interest. I hope it stays preserved so I can see it in all its greatness some day.
